MOURNING FOOTBALL FAN ISAAC JUMA:

Isaac Juma Onyango, the veteran AFC Leopards and Harambee Stars fan who was killed early today, was a legend in his own right. He brought unique life to football pitches and made encounters involving AFC Leopards real fun to be at. I believe Juma was a source of joy and pride to his family and community too. His brutal murder brings a sudden and unacceptable stop to a life the country had come to associate with the highs and lows of our football.

The law enforcement authorities must move with speed and precision and apprehend the culprits behind this heinous crime. We must send clear message that this brutality and lawlessness has no space in our society.

I send love and prayers to Juma and his family, to AFC Leopards and entire soccer fraternity in Kenya.
